It Was The Best Of Times..It Was The Worst Of Times

When a friend leaves to walk their path you never say Goodbye...goodbye is for when you leave a lover or have an angry parting with someone. When a friend leaves you say "Cya later....or Goodbye for now"...because goodbye is just too permanent.

My friend and I have gone through some "challenging" times to say the least. You would think this would drive you further apart..but sometimes it brings you closer together. A true friend is someone you can get Really Mad At and still say I love you. A friend is someone who cares about you "all the time" not just when it's convenient. A friend is there in bad times and good...to teach you things you never knew..even if it takes you awhile. You can fight like the dickens but still stay friends. Nothing seems to resonate in your heart like the words of a friend on paper or on the phone. A friend shows you how to have joy in the moment and how to stop worrying all the time. A friend lifts you up when you have fallen and makes you laugh. You don't know how much you care for a friend until they are leaving your life. So remember to always tell your friends that you love them because you never know when you will see them again.

So I say goodbye for now to my dear friend Airwick. He is going on a long, spiritual journey to bring peace to his soul. I tell ya blogland is KNOT going to be the same while he's away. I hope he knows how dear he is to many and how much he has taught us all about forgiveness and joy.

I hope that this vacation of sorts brings him peas. I'm sad to see him go yet happy for him too. I hope he remembers us all here in Hooterville.
