Doctors Fudge It All When It Comes To Cancer

A Smoker Sad But True
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~pausch/
From a dear friend(my first sweetheart)
My dear, This is a blog reply to the attached link. I saw this on Oprah while practicing trombone and was very moved. Mostly like "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff", but with a very short term approach (he's dying from cancer). Medicine is a big biz, ain't gonna change much either. Do what is right for you and pray "they all" have enough brains and heart (smarts, compassion and empathy) to understand and love you anyway. I do. Always did.

I hope that Dr. Pausch’s inspiring message may also serve to demonstrate just how little real progress has been made in the four decades long war on cancer and encourage Dr. Pausch and others to take a very close look outside the failed mainstream methods of attempting to cut out, burn out or poison out the symptoms of cancer (tumors and cancerous cell proliferation) and instead look at the underlying causes of cancer as well as alternatives nature has provided in abundance for curing and preventing cancer.
Pancreatic cancer is indeed a very fast acting and deadly cancer. However, there are patients who have used alternative treatments who are alive years after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and years after they are supposed to die. One such treatment involves a patented medicine which has passed FDA phase I trials (also available in supplement and home remedy form) made from a simple aqueous extract of the common oleander plant - a plant that is highly toxic in raw form, but quite amazing much safer than most mainstream treatments when properly prepared.
Since the aqueous extract is based on a common plant and a remedy that dates back 2000 or more years, it is unlikely that a strong patent can be obtained - and thus unlikely that we will ever see it as a profitable and FDA approved drug. Which also, in my opinion, explains why most information about aqueous extract that is found in mainstream medicine is basically misinformation and disinformation.
And that is merely one example. The sad truth is that cancer is a $400 Billion a year industry whose continued existence and growth, as well as that of the many agencies and organizations tied to it, depends on NOT finding a cure for cancer. When it comes to profits versus humanity, the track record of mainstream medicine and those who profit from it is lamentable, but plain to all who take off their blinders and examine it outside the deluge of “ask your doctor” propaganda and annual stream of misleading statistics and false promises of cures and breakthroughs.
